Two footprints, one long day
The festival is at District Park, 120 Peck Street. The parade steps off around sunset at Washington and Empire, then uses Washington, Dorrance and Weybosset streets. That means a parking space that works for the daytime festival can be trapped by—or sit on—the evening closure area.
Avoid parking on the parade streets. Rhode Island Pride specifically cautions against Greene, Washington, Dorrance, Weybosset and Empire streets. Use an established garage or a legal space outside the closure footprint.

Plan around the parade
- Choose a garage that lets you walk to both District Park and the route without crossing a closure by car.
- Check I-95 and I-195 before leaving, then the downtown map near arrival.
- If using RIPTA, confirm current detours because parade closures may move downtown stops.
- Before departing at night, recheck the map and follow police direction.
