Rhode Island PrideFest & Parade traffic guide

PrideFest and the illuminated parade can close key downtown streets. Use live cameras to choose an approach and park outside the current parade footprint.

Two footprints, one long day

The most recently published event used District Park for the daytime festival and downtown streets for an illuminated parade around sunset. The 2027 date, locations and route have not yet been announced, so treat the prior footprint only as planning context.

Check the new map before parking. Parade streets and closures can change from year to year. Use an established garage or a legal space outside the organizer’s published closure footprint.

Plan around the parade

  1. Choose a garage that lets you walk to both District Park and the route without crossing a closure by car.
  2. Check I-95 and I-195 before leaving, then the downtown map near arrival.
  3. If using RIPTA, confirm current detours because parade closures may move downtown stops.
  4. Before departing at night, recheck the map and follow police direction.

Exact times, parade routing and accessibility provisions belong to the organizer; see the official PrideFest page and current maps.
